6.13.2007 | Wide Format Imaging's - Digital Textile Supplement for NeoCon 2007

Cover story and article on Decorative Imaging and the potential of new digital imaging technology to revolutionize the creation of custom products for Interior Design. This special NeoCon supplement was handed out to all attendees of the Show.

4.10.2007 | National Wood Flooring Association - Extreme Makeover Contest

The 2007 Extreme Makeover Contest was held in Denver, CO the week of April 10th . The International competition attracts the most renowned wood flooring craftsman from around the world. The contestants were given a 10 by 10 ft strip oak panel to transform into ornate wood flooring masterpieces of their own design. They were allowed to replace up to 50% of the original red oak flooring.

The crowning jewel of the winning entry was a 42", digitally produced, Palace medallion by Decorative Imaging. Master Craftsman Charles Peterson accepted the first place award giving most of the credit to his partners at Decorative Imaging. Charles went on to say that he believes "that the new technology offered by Decorative Imaging is the most exciting advancement in the decorative arts in his lifetime."

1.10.2007 | SGIA Congress of Comittees - Digital Textiles & Decor

Decorative Imaging was invited to join the SGIA's Congress of Committees and participate as members of the sub-committee "Digital Textiles & Decor." This group promotes the potential of applying digital technology to produce textiles, interior design and home decor products. They act as a resource to both the digital print and interior design communities to build understanding and raise awareness of these emerging markets.

4.25.2006 | 34th Annual Kip's Bay Decorator Show House

We took over the foyer of a $55 million dollar Manhattan townhouse and turned it into a tribute to Brittish architect, Robert Adam. It marked the debut of our "digital marquetry" and decorative surface design products for Interiors.
